Is it worth de-catting the converter on 2010
Is it worth decatting the converter 2010 Fat Bob As long as I'm getting new 48 Andrew's cams installed is it worth cutting out the catalytic converter out of the stock head pipe performance wise. Common sense says yes but the main issue is I don't want to lose any bottom end power. I like the look of the stock Fat Bob pipe & want to keep it. I running 2" slip-ons & heavy breather air cleaner now with the stock set-up. I will also be adding a Power Vision tunner.
Would it be wise to install a 30 pulley at the same time? I love bottom to mid range power.
How much is a fair price from an independent for installing cams. I'm providing all the parts.
Thanks guys.

If done right IMO yes. The bike will not really run cooler. The CAT works by getting hot removing it just moves that hot spot away for you a bit.
Just gutting the header is ok but does nothing much for power. Choosing the right header and exhaust can be a big plus in moving torque and top end power where you need it.
