I recently installed a Mikuni HSR42 on my 06 streetglide and I am having a problem with a rough "shudder" at idle when it is warm. I installed a 22.5 idle jet and adjusted the idle air screw in to about 1.5 turns. I usually ride at 5000' and above and the bike runs great at all rpm's over 1000 but when you are coming to a stop after it is hot,the rpm's drop below 1000 and it shakes hard. I usually blip the throttle several times and the idle will sometimes settle to 1050 rpms but sometimes it continues to shake hard and idle very rough. I installed a new manifold gasket in case I had an air leak but it didn't solve the problem.Any ideas?

Will the idle smooth out if you use the choke? If it does try the #25 pilot jet or add another turn (open) to the idle air screw.
