Just put the V&H Monster Ovals on my FLHTK. When looking from the rear it looks to lean to the outside a bit and not level. Is this normal for these pipes? Everything is installed properly and there is no way to can't it the other way to make it level and still have all the brackets lined up.

I had a set of those, that's not normal. They should be level. I can't remember exactly how they mounted but I do remember them having their own mounting brackets and mounted differently than most other mufflers.

I'd try loosening the muffler from the headpipe, as well as loosening the mounting bolts at the brackets all the way out until the last thread and see if you can twist the mufflers enough to level out, then retighten the mounting bolts carefully while holding the mufflers in place.

 

Did you use new exhaust clamps?

 

Fixed. Loosened up the muffler clamps and leveled them, I didn't realize I had any flexibility in the orientation with the way it's designed.

I did use new clamps.
