Dual pipe big radius, i know there for looks, found out after the fact, so instead of going to a 2 into can i put the big city baffels, or the tti's? Whats my best option to make these mre a performing pipe, i have a screaming eagle intake, fp3 tuner, plan on doing a 107 kit so i like the looks of pipes, just wonder if these baffell replacement parts work or not?thanks brothas
It's not going to make much of a difference no matter what you do to them. They're just not a real high performance set of pipes. Like you stated in your first post, they're made more for looks.
Unfortunately in some cases, you can't polish a turd. If you're going to spend the bucks on a build, get a new exhaust to go with it. No reason to put the time and money into an engine upgrade and settle on only part of the performance from that build.
The difference can be felt in the seat of your pants. In my experience a good 2-1 will move the torque over to the left where most of us ride. I've ran 2-1-2's and 2-1's and I felt as well as saw the difference on the dyno sheet.
1. Get yourself a beer.
2. Remove Big Radius exhaust from bike.
3. Get another Beer.
4. Throw Big Radius in the trash and install a D&D Fat Cat.
5. Have a third beer and enjoy the extra power and better sound!
