Hello I have a fitment swap question for everyone. I purchased a set of short shots for my 2016 Street Bob from Amazon. I was sent the set for 2016 Softtail.

Does anyone know if they are the same shape pipes and there is only the difference of the bracket to the fitment? If possible, can I just get a bracket to fit my Fxdb?

Any help would be appreciated.

They're also bent for a softail. I did the exact thing and even bought the bracket from Vance & Hines but I just couldn't make it work...

 

I did the same thing and I bought the bracket but it doesn't make the pipes line up because they're shaped for a softail. Thought that I was going to save a few bucks but didn't work... Be safe.

 

Won't work I did the same thing, I bought the right bracket from Vance & Hines and still wouldn't line up correctly. The pipes are bent for a different bike.
