Bassani 2x2 dual head pipe pn#1F14A
Just curious if anyone has the headpipe. Thoughts? Comments? Pictures or comments on O2 sensor location. Looks like a decent headpipe for the price for keeping stock heat shields. Thinking of going to this from my stock decatted head pipe. I have the v&h titan os 450's. I can get head pipe for $450 canadian. Many other options are crazy expensive due to the low cad dollar.

Bassani pipe
I put one on my 2016 FLHX. Fit perfect withe exception of the crossover pipe that feeds the left side muffler. Had to do a little tweak to get the bolt that goes through the bracket( that is welded to the pipe) to thread into the oil pan.
The Harley bracket wraps around the pipe and can be moved. Heat shields fit well and no leaks at all.
2 things I liked about the kit were, that it comes with both sets of O2 bungs. Stock location (narrow band) and wide band up by the exhaust ports. It has plugs for both.
Also the crossover pipe that runs from the right side to the left side feeding the left muffler, is a round full sized pipe and not the piece Harley installs that looks like someone smashed it with a sledge hammer! Not sure why Harley chose to do that seeing as the oil pan hangs down lower than the pipe anyway.

What was the "tweak" you had to do? I have this headpipe sitting in the box waiting to be installed, and I'm curious as to the tweak? Was it a big mis-alignment, or just enough off that you had to loosen other connections, install the bolt, then retighten everything?
Hopefully I can get this header installed next weekend; but any tips you have would be great! (I'll be installing on a '15 Ultra Limited...not sure if there would be any difference in how the crossover mounts, but all the info I can get would be helpful!)

tweak
I had to bend the crossover pipe bracket slightly to get the bolt to thread into the pan. I probably could have used a dremel and oval-ed out the bolt hole slightly to get it to go. It was only off enough so I couldn't catch a thread. You may not even have that issue. Everything else was easy as stock ,and all the heat shields fit fine.

Hi guys, Just purchased the Bassani 2x2 head pipe for my Road King Classic was told by more than a few teck's that the Bassani's will give me the best back pressure for my CFR's and i can re-use my heat shields which fit perfectly that combined with TTS by Master Tune and the Screamin Eagle big breather will produce that loud deep throatty sound im looking for! I listened to at least 25 different set ups and personally didnt like the higher pitched sound of the V / H and others . All are going to be installed and dyno'ed in 2 weeks ! Will post some pics when completed, hope it helps!

Everything looks good; I just need to clean up the Bassani pipe before I reinstall the stock heat shields, my mufflers (Jackpot 3.5" Slash-Ups), then get an updated map from FuelMoto to compensate for the new header. All that remains beyond that is to get weather that is conducive to riding!
