Guys, I have a co-worker who owns an 06 Sportster 1200. I recently did a full exhaust swap on my Ultra, and now he's ready to do his. My question is, did the 1,200 sportsters come with a Cat installed in 06? If so, is the best method just to swap for new header pipes, or can you easily remove the cat? Also, he isn't sure what slip-on's to go with. Obviously, there is a budget here. I just don't know exactly how much. Just trying to get some solid info for him so he can make an informed decision...........BTW, not worried about decibel levels in this case.....;-) Thanks....
