I've got an 01 Heritage and just got the 39" cholos, I got the head pipes installed just fine, as well as the bracket, when I go to "slip on" the muffler part of the pipes, it's soooooooooo tight and simply will not seat home onto the head pipes, not on either side of the bike. It's about an inch away from lining up with the bolt holes on the bracket and the mount on the pipe, meaning it still needs to slide into the head pipe another inch and it WILL NOT budge. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes???

 

Maybe bring pipes into muffler shop to have expanded just a hair, or call the manufacturer and see what they say.

 

Lube, a mallet and wood block will get you the rest of the way there...
