is wayyyyyy too tight

with the cables properly adjusted it takes he-man strength to roll the throttle, in fact ANYWAY i adjust the cables..................

is there any way to adjust the spring on the carb?

this is an s&s super E on a 91 sporty thanx

 

anybody? just pushing the throttle spool with no cables attached is a bitch


bad throttle shaft bushing maybe? dont think so cuz it turns smooth but tight as hell

 

Sounds like your throttle assembly needs replacing.Try cracking the screws loose that hold the halfs of the assembly together.There also a small barrel at the end of each cable,they could be digging in to the side of the housing.Make sure thier seated in the nylon tube.
