So my bike is a year old and has about 8500 on the clock. I have an oil leak. I know that it will be taken care of on the warranty, but it just sucks. Why does my bike have to live up to Harley's "reputation?" Has anybody else here had a similar issue?


Oh, and the front master cylinder leaks too! Ugh.

 

My 03 developed an inner primary leak right after the 1 year warranty was up, and then again 10,000 miles later. So far the 07 doesn't leak. Is the master cylinder leaking around the cover? Don't tighten the screwsdown tight, just until the seal starts to compress.

 

One drop about a year ago and a piece of cardboard under it sense. Have changed the card board many times but never got another drip, who knows?

 

Remember in the old days it was the leaking or lack thereof that told if you were low on oil.
Be proud it just means your bike is more old school than most tc's. lol
