Default how big before case boring?

Just wondering from the builders: how big of a bore can you go with a TC before case boring is required?

I was thinking 107ci but im not sure.

Donk said it.
After that, say going to a 4" hole, then case boring is required.
Good way to power.

Thanks for the replies!

I have a couple of sets of OE barrels and I was thinking of picking up a SE stroker crank with my extra "stimulius" $ in may, and punching the OE barrels out to the max.

the more I think about it though if your already spliting the cases you might as well to a timken bearing upgrade and make it a 113 ci!

Yep, if you are in there, the 113 at that point doesn't cost much more as the pistons, cyls and headwork is pretty much fixed for most builds. The extra would be the case boring and then any crankwork you may have done. And then, to go to 120, well, just a bigger crank is all

dont forget about getting the crank done by darkhorse. he has some cranks there you can purchase that are already done or he can build one specifically for your application.
getting the crank done and timkin up-grade makes a world of diffrence in smoothness espeacially if your going over the 107 mark.
