Default Anti-inversion tubes ...aka torque tubes

Anyone used these on a stage 1 tc88b? Looking to see if they are worth the money or just added weight and lost time.

Default RE: Anti-inversion tubes ...aka torque tubes

Snake oil.....they are a restriction in the exhaust and a horse power robber. The tq cones where developed to take the flat spot out of over scavenging exhaust systems like drag pipes by developing back pressure in the exhaust system.......they actually did give back some tq in the 2000~3000 rpm area where the drag pipes feel on their face.... BUT....the tq cones restricted the exhaust flow so much above 3000 rpm that it lost mega power on top end. If you install them in a system that has efficient back pressure now they will kill your power every where....it's like the banana in the tail pipe trick.
