Hi Craig,
If your bike is a Softail Evo one, I can tell you what you must do looking at the service manual I have. It's not a difficult thing to do and you can do it with the engine in the frame. If you are interested, I can send you a photo of the Service Manual pages you need to do this job the next Monday.

RE: Evo Rocker Gasket replacement procedures
I looked at it again this morning and realized that the oil is coming from under the rocker Arm assembly. I have a service manual but it says to remove the engine. Looking at the manual, it looks like I might be able to do it in the frame. Just wondering if someone could tell me for sure.
How far do I need to dis-assemble to get to the point of fixing this oil leak?

RE: Evo Rocker Gasket replacement procedures
What are the procedures to change the gasket between the Rocker arm assembly and the cylinder?
I know I need to pull the two upper rocker covers off. If I turn the engine so that all valves are closed, can I just unbolt the rocker assembly and pull it off? Or am I going to have to remove the rocker arms, push rods, etc?
