Default Lift on Stock Valve Springs

I would to run a SE 255 cam with stock springs. Will the stock springs take .550 lift? this cam has about .065 more lift then stock. I don't know if I will coil bind or hit the top of the guide. Any thoughts guys, Thanks,
Craig

You can go to .600 without problems with Beehives. With the earlier heads .550 is pushing it. Better to have it checked.&nbsp\\;

The stock springs on the 96" motors accept the SE 255 cams since that's what's included in the Stage II BB kit.

Check the Part nos. for the springs and compare if they are the same or not.
