Default bad spark plug

I bought my 07 Street Bob used with 400 miles and soon after installed a Stage 1 -V&amp\\;H slip-ons, Big Sucker, Fuelpak, xIEDS. Now has 1400 mi. It ran great, some pop on decel and Derek at V&amp\\;H helped with some fuel map changes. Steve at Nightrider was very helpful and patient on numerous occasions trying to figure it out. Then it started to backfire more often and it got so bad I was about to send the Fuelpak back to V&amp\\;H for testing.

My&nbsp\\;local indy&nbsp\\;thought I&nbsp\\;had&nbsp\\;intake leak.&nbsp\\;I worked in&nbsp\\;bike shop in&nbsp\\;early 70’s I&nbsp\\;tested for&nbsp\\;a leak earlier so I had him check it. He agreed so I took it to the dealer. I told the service guy I had these mods and would remove them if he wanted me to, he said no

When I picked up the bike they had replaced the intake seals but still ran the same. The tech said the seals were fine and replaced them only because I asked.&nbsp\\; I was told it was too lean due to the mods and needed a SERT, SE a/c and pipes, even though the problem had just started and were getting worse. (They also sell and install V&amp\\;H at the dealer.) I took the bike and made it factory stock.

They also found a defective spark plug. I think this was the problem all along and felt like an idiot for not thinking of it myself.
