Default SE MCR Perf Heads?

I have a chance to get these heads failry cheap, new. I plan on a 95" build this winter. Wanted to know if anyone used these or knows about them?

My other option was to send my heads out for cc/porting/springs/cr. Looks like these are all set up?

I'm really not stuck on SE..but for the cost of getting my heads reworked they looked like a good deal complete...My tune of choice is the T-max and I planned on Andrews 37G for my cam. I'm shooting for 10.5:1 with SE Flat tops...

Whats "really cheap"? And what cams and pistons do you plan on running? Normally the best thing to do is have your stock heads reworked to compliment your cam/compression combo........

$700 for NEW heads and a set of NEW 37g cams? Hmmmm, that is a great price. I would probably say jump on that. Just be aware of the smaller head volume on these heads when grabbing your pistons. Make sure you check your squishband and valve to piston clearance(valve to valve wont be an issue with these heads and the mild andrew grind)as well 2 that are important with these heads.

Anyway assuming these are new that is a great deal and they should work relatively well together and you should get some good low to midrange power from the setup which Im sure is what you want.

SuperAhcmed, no it's 700 for the heads and yes they are new...not the cam. I was just stating that was the cam I wanted to use. It's about 250 less than dealer.

thx for the replies bro

Personally, I would put the 700 in the stock heads for porting ,cc'ing etc.. Then set up for 9.8 to 1 for the 37 cams..

Ah, NVM then, I kind of agree with above. I would send out to a place like Deweys. $700 goes a longer way on stock heads being reworked: http://deweysheads.com/
