Default Tw 408-6 what to expect SE CNC ported heads 113" motor

I have a 07 street glide with SE 50MM throttle body, CNC Ported head matching piston 10.5 comp. 113" motor, Boarzilla exhaust. I thinking about TW408-6 cam. What can i expect with these cams? HP,TQ, Pinging, Bad valve train. I keep hearing that this is a good cam for TQ & Very hot cam. Anyone know anything about this cam with my setup.

I have heard of the new woods cam but have never found the spec's on woods site. Anyone know the specs or have a link?

Suspect it is simular to HD 255's with 7-10 degree exhaust closing #

The bike should run great, once tuned correctly.

I'm putting the 408g cam in my bike when I do the build on it. It's going to be a 95" and I should see numbers in the 120-125 range on the dyno.

Default Dawg - thanks

Let us know where you found info on the mag 44.

As I see it this is a bolt in for 96 with 9.2 to 9'5 compression instaed of the 10:2 as the TW6-6 correct?? May get you 100 - 105 tq and 92 to 95 HP with lower compression and easy on the "new" china cranks correct?

We have a engine on the books now that will have the 408-44 cam in it. We have not used it so will have to see how it does once tuned. The 408 has put down some great power in other builds so I am eager to see how this new version works.

a 95 in making those # how much compression you going to be running??????
110-112 is a good solid # to shoot for... do it properly to acheive the best results..

I am thinking that this cam might push the torque band a little higher in the rpm range and might not be the optimum for a bagger that is ridden two up regularly. I didn't see what type of bike you are putting this in, if a lighter bike it would work out fine. As with all Woods cams (and any others for that matter), tuning is the key. I have run three different Woods grinds and they all performed as expected.
