haven't seen a dyno from one yet...wouldn't waste my money on those heads and cams...I'd have my stock heads reworked and use a short cam...I'm assuming this is for your ultra...I also have some other ideas, pm me if interested

Might try one if I get a good deal on it for my 08 SG . It comes w/a 58 Tb that will work with cruise control and fuel injectors along with a bunch of other stuff, like super tuner, hd clutch spring and pushrods. Thinking that the 260 cam might be too top-end so I am thinking about getting a woods 408 to have around if that is the case. Have seen the heads in person and I know you can't tell by looking but they sure look good.

You can tell by looking at those heads and the two most important things as far as I'm concerned have been taken away from the engine with these heads and throttle body. The heads lack velocity and squish area and the throttle body lacks flow and plenum. Have your heads reworked and use the stock TB or get a HPI.

Oh the heads I saw were the 110+ cnc ported mva heads and they were in a kit with the matching 10.5 comp pistons, for 2400 dollars with all of the stuff needed to finish except comp releases and harness. Everyone seems to hate these heads but might be worth a try in a engineered package like this, all the experts on this forum are always touting the merits of an engineered package so why not this one?

This is why it caught my attention. Everything appears to be in the kit and put together with a reason. I asked the head wrench at my dealer about it and he said that before this came out he would put together a similar package - only it would cost more $.

He showed me some dynos of bikes he set up this way and the numbers looked pretty good. Over 103 for both tq and hp. I was checking to see if anyone has tried this set up. For a SE package it doesn't look too bad.

My 95" had 102/112. My 103 was 112/118. Neither was an engineered HD package. Both had the torque where it was useable, peak being 2200 to 2600. This is my theory, HD under engineers their packages with a huge margin for safety. That being said, the aftermarket has taken it to the next step, both greater performance and reliability. You just dont hear of engines grenading with aftermarket, well built and engineered packages. Do a little research, ask more questions and then make a decision. HD is there to sell you most anything they can make a buck on. Not saying their stuff is bad, just that there is better that is available.
Talk with Doug at HeadQuarters, Steve at GMR, Randy at Hyperformance, etc and you will get the right stuff.

Alot of good info, ya really should consider steppin out of the SE box, and do some serious research, you'll learn alot before you know it. I believe one of the worst things you can do is go and buy all the best SE parts. You'll regret it later when you start comparing your results with other builds outside!

103 square from a 110"?
Last 110" we did with a Wood 8, 55 HPI t/body, D&D Fatcat standard baffle, and those CVO heads modified, ran 122 hp and 127 ft lbs. Big torque very early as well.
With a set of pistons and a 9B, could show 130 square,(have seen those numbers on Harley 113", without pushing) but may move the peak over to the right a tick.
