Question Vance @ hines fuelpak help

I have a 2008 FLHX SG it has a stage one high flow air filter and vance and hines basic slip on's. I have the recommened fuelpak and installed it. I used the the map settings that were listed in the instructions. I started my bike up and it ran for a bit but then it sputtered out. I then went to the vance hines site and they showed different settings. So I then removed the fuelpak and disconnected the battery to the bike to retry with the new map setting mode numbers. My problem is that I am unable to reset the fuelpak to enter the new numbers. the Fuelpak led's blink then you see the zero's then the red light in the center stay's on. Has anyone encountered this problem and what do I need to do to reset the fuelpak to enter new map settings, I put every thing back to normal without the fuelpak and the bike runs fine. OR direct me to a thread that i can get some info or someone else who has had the same problem.
