Default R&R 113" SE Build - Nearing completion.

Sent my cases to R&R last month and ordered up a new 5-Piece Billet Crank for a 113" SE build I had planned. I got the cases back a couple weeks ago and just finished putting together a new 113" for the 09 SG. The build list is noted in my signature and we assembled the new motor at a buddies shop last weekend. With the motor assembled, last night we set it to get it into the bike and tonight we'll complete the peripherals to button it up and get it fired. Here's a couple pictures of the progress to date. Should make some good power when it's all done and said. Dyno will be posted in a couple weeks when I get a tune on it.

It's breathin now, and I've had it out a couple times today to heat cycle it a couple times. Makes great power and it's freakin loud with the higher compression. I'll dyno tune it in a couple weeks and we'll see what it makes for power.

that is going to be a beast of a motor -- I thinking of going 113 or 120 next year. How much was the crank work?

How is that thing going to make any power with all those SE parts?

I'll likely make one Saturday when I have some time Tim. Last night was the first round of NHL action for my team and tonight is a write off so perhaps tomorrow before I head out for a poker rally.

Default Ftf

My builder had talked me into using R&R's FTF crank but was not aware of the bearing installation requirement so in order to save me time, we went with a SE crank welded and balanced by Falicon.

I'll be watching for your dyno numbers to compare to my 113's build numbers which is all SE stage IV stuff (MVA heads, 10.5 pistons, SE260 cam) with a Boarzilla exhaust and SE heavy breather.

Glaad you got it running Graeme, curious to see what you think of it after putting some miles on it and getting it tuned.
