I am putting a Mikuni Easy kit HSR42 on my 2002 Dyna Lowrider with the following: TC88 with stock cams, Rinehart staggered exhaust, Stage 1 air cleaner and Daytona Twin Tc ignition module. I'm in Minnesota, so the elevation is around 500-900 ft. Is anyone running a similar combo, and if so what jets did you end up using? Will the jets that come in the kit be enought to get it dialed in?

I haven't done your excact configuration, but I think the carb will be very close to where you need it. It should have a 25 pilot ject, 160 main jet, 97 needle and a 70 accelator pump jet. You many need to go up to a 165 or 170 main jet for your wide open throttle settings. The 70 accelator pump jet is very rich. I would definately put in a 60 right from the start. I am using a 60 in my 106" evo with a s&s 600 cam. If you do a lot of highway driving and you mileage is poor on the highway and your plugs have a lot of black on them, try a 22.5 pilot jet. I think leaving the clip in the middle on the needle will be fine for you setup. If partial throttle acceleration is soft in the low mid-range, put the clip down one possition to raise the needle. Basically put in a 60 accelerator pump jet and possibly a 165 main jet and have fun.

Don't over tighten the float bowl cover screws or you will be using a impact screw driver to remove them. Just snug them down and then lightly tighten.
