I have the S&S lifters on my bike, seem to work fine. Also, when you have your gear driven cams installed, consider installing an S&S reed valve at the same time. It will correct any oil blowback coming from your air cleaner. It's a simple install while they have the cams out.

Use the stock lifters. They will work perfectly in just about any engine no matter what mods have been done. No need to waste money on more expensive ones unless it's a race bike. Even then, I've built some 100+ ft lb engines that I raced every weekend for a few years before needing to replace them. Those were some HARD miles and they held up great.

Thanks Spectrexx, the stock ones on there seem to be working fine so that's what I'm gonna do.

Good choice. If you mean getting NEW stock lifters, that is. If you have 47k on the engine already, then now is a good time to change them. They are easy enough to change later if you have to.
