Default Do it yourself exhaust...kits? thoughts...ideas

I have searched for the past few hours and cannot seem to find what I'm looking for. I have some engineering and fabrication background. I recently was involved in a MC accident and broke both arms...so I have lots of time on my hands. I'm looking for information relating to any do it yourself exhaust kits (pre-bent sections of pipe, flanges, etc.) or post from anyone who has built their own exhaust. I'm also looking for any cutaway diagrams of a 2 into 1 baffle. I understand companies put in years of R&D and unlimited $ to develop systems which perform well. I'm bored and interested. I have an '11 Street Bob. So far I have removed my cats, and made up baffles identical to the baffles in my dad's SE pipes. Sounds great, but not what I'm looking for. I could spend the money and buy a pipe, but would be much more interested and fulfilled in fabricating my own through an informed trial and error process. Whew...that was long. So anyhow if anyone has any input or info, I'd be much appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: I just found Biltwell's DIY kit...looks promising.

Thanks! Looks like just the parts I need. Has anyone who has built pipes themselves done any dyno tuning on a stock 96"? (with the necessary fueling mods of course)

Default auto glass pack makes a great muffler for Dyna

Think outside the box regarding a baffle system. I bought a 2 into 1 system from C&D for my 2004 FXDX. The power increase was there, but the noise had my ears ringing. The tech folks said the company was not interested in developing a quiet baffle. I then slipped in a 18 inch automotive glss pack in place of the tiny C&D baffle. The power was not affected, and the decibels dropped significantly. Best $20 I ever spent on the bike. The 3 1/2 inch outer diameter of the glasspack slipped right insode the 4 inch diameter shiney chrome baffle tube.
