I'm thinking of taking my Rinehart TD's off the scoot. They are just too loud for me anymore. I know it's been discussed many times before, but I'm thinking of the V&H Monster Ovals.... Of course, I have to replace the headpipes also since I don't have the stock ones anymore. So here's the question/scenerio....

1) get a set of V&H TD headpipes to go with $$$
2) pick up a used set of stock headpipes
3) punt......

I like the look without the x-over pipe, and I know performance wise the x-over or a 2-1 is the way to go. Right now the bike is a 88 with Andrews 26 conversion cams, AN BS w/ K&N filter and Direct Link ECM tuned. I have picked up a set of '06 heads with the thought of taking it to a 95" sometime in the future.

Suggestions, thoughts?

 

Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1.............very quiet, but great performance.

True duals look good, but they do take away some of your low-end torque. Since you already did the Andrews 26 cam, a 2-1 will really wake it up and bring the torque you are looking for.
