Default Braided gasline tip

I have a 03 Fatboy and I just didnt like the stock black gasline that Harley puts on thier bikes, so I wanted a braided line.....but I could not find a company that sold the braided gas line assembly for the fule injection. Anyway I thought I would share what I did to get the efect I wanted. I'm sure some of you have allready done this very thing. To my suprise it was a very easy thing to do and I have not seen a bike around (besides the custom choppers and what not) that have a braided fuel line. Since I put it on I have had no leaks and put about 2,500 miles on her. If you decide to do something like this, keep in mind that this line is under pressure and you will need high pressure braided line. I used the HP braided line, two hose clamps and two little chrome dress up collers. Its just a little something to add to the detail. Sorry for the not so good picture.Name: thline.jpg

I seem to remember when I dressed up my truck as a kid that you can buy braided sleeves to put over your hoses. Now this was back in the late 80's, but probably still available.

Your's does look good, just tossing in an alternative thought.

Yeah you can still get that, however on some models the fuel line is a sealed fit around the quick disconect fittings so you will have to cut the line and go back with new.

This is a cross over line from one side of the tank to the other. The line that im talking about is from your tank to your EFI or carburetor.
