Default 09 exhaust swap on 2011

I have heard of some guys putting on 2009 headpipes to eliminate the cat converter in the 2010+ models. My understanding is the O2 bung holes are in a different position on the different years, what do I need to do to make sure this works? Is there any way to eliminate the O2 sensors altogether?

Just take a measurement on where the placement is on each year. There is a lot of room where they mount so they should fit. Unless you do a carb conversion on the bike, (not sure if that is even possible without rewiring the whole bike.) you need the sensors to make the fuel injection work right.
