Default Kerker 2-1 vs Supertrapp 2-1: Same thing?

Saw on ebay where a vender was claiming that Kerker and Supertrapp were one and the same company. I plan to buy a 2-1 Supertrapp Supermeg (with the removable end cap disks) for the '95 RK, but the Kerker 2-1 is a lot less expensive. Is the Kerker 2-1 lesser quality than the Supertrapp 2-1? Or is it the same pipe with a different brand name stamped on it?

Same company and the pipes are nearly identical. The header is the same, Supertrapp Supermeg has adjustable disks for the end cap and the Kerker Supermeg has a slash cut muffler.

Thanks Jamie. Is Fuel Moto having a fire sale on the Supertrapp Supermeg 2-1 for a '95 Road King?

So wouldn't you have a lot more flexibility with the disk system? It seems to me that could be a big advantage in fine tuning your exhaust.
