Default Cam bearing question...outer roller bearing

I am in the process of replacing cam bearings in my 1999 FXDX. After 20k miles my outer rear cam bearing finally gave up. It still had the original ball bearing that was never replaced under warranty. Anyhow, that's a whole other story. I bought the "upgraded" roller bearing (HD #8983). I have the FSM for my bike but it shows the ball bearing installation. I understand that the inner race gets pressed on to the camshaft itself and the washer goes on the cam side of the bearing also. Where does the little o-ring go that comes with the roller bearing?

I am using the Andrews upgraded cam gear. I got a great deal on a set of TW26's that use the old keyed cam gear, the same set up as my 99 came with. I would appreciate if you could email me the page since I didn't get that with my gear. Send to: rcsjr1@hotmail.com thanks!
