Default TR-625 At 10.75:1

Contemplating installing the T-Man TR-625 in my 107 but my compression is already at 10.75:1. I realize the TR-590 bleeds off some, but I don't want to risk losing bottom end torque. Change in compression is not a consideration at this point.

Current cam is the Wood TW-555 and naturally, the cranking compression is pretty high at 218 PSI. The TR-625 has slightly longer duration so I would think that compression would be reduced a small amount.

I like the bottom end performance with the 555 but I know the heads are capable of more and would like the bike to pull out further in the RPM band, but hopefully not give it up down low. Heads are ported with 1.94 intakes and flow pretty well.

Anyone running this cam with about this compression?

I'm running the T-Man 590G in my 113" at 10.8:1. I ran it in my 103", and it pulled pretty well down low. If you are looking to change cams, you could also consider the TW8-6. It likes that 10.7-10.8:1 range.

Hmm, very nice looking sheet there! Do you happen to know what your cranking compression is? Compression releases?

Can you provide other build details?

I'm surprised the cranking compression is that low considering the 10.75:1, but perhaps that's good news for me in that I may see lower cranking numbers.
