I was reading in another thread that HD changed the part number on the screamin eagle heavy breather for the -08 and above sportster but that it's the same kit as for an '04. On a whim I got great deal on a kit from ebay that came off of an '09. I'm wondering when this arrives if there are any parts I will be missing.

 

I've only installed them on Big Twins, but I know with them, the only thing you need outside of the kit is a set of stock breather bolts. If you already have a Stage 1 kit on there, you will probably need to procure stock breather bolts for the switch, but I couldn't say for sure.

 

I'm hoping for the best. The instructions from harley davidson list steps for both EFI and carb'd models. If it's truly for '08 and later sportsters then why would they include instructions for carbs?

Since I bought it used off of ebay, i only hope the guy kept all the original pieces necessary.
