Default Engine Temp

I replaced my exhaust, road tested my bike, and checked my plugs. Bike seems to be running lean with some popping on decel. My question is how or where do you check the engine temp? I have one of those laser temp guns to check it. I am planning on getting a TFI or DFO soon.

Default RE: Engine Temp

You probably are on the lean side w/o some sort of fuel upgrade.Id say the cylinder heads are your best indication for heat, rear cyl the most.Keep in mind that prolonged idling during test wouldnt be 100% true.Get a SERT or PC11 for your bikes setup and a dyno tune for best results.
