Torque wrench help
I have a torque wrench in Ft/Lbs only.. the exhaust torque to cylinders says 120 in/Lbs... what is the value of Ft/Lbs ? is it about 12 ft lbs ?
installing my V&H power duals and i used the V&H supplied Gaskets and pulled out the HD ones which look different... i did torque to 15lbs but i had to use an extension and a universal joint on the socket to access the front cylinder bolt. i hope i didnt go to tight... any suggestions ?

Don't worry about the torque on those nuts. Snug them up best way you can; you don't have to gorilla tighten them. Check them and re-tighten after about 50 miles. Or, tighten a fastener you can easily get to with the torque wrench then put a socket or end wrench on it to get the "feel" and then use that "feel" on the exhaust flange nuts.

First off, get an inch pound torque wrench. I recall I needed some combination of socket extension and universal joint (like you did) to get to the front flange nut. I kept the wrench handle perpendicular to the direction the socket was angled or offset to minimize legnthening of the torque arm. Use antiseize.
