Default 2011 CVO 110" S.E. ..I need more umphhh!

I bought it brand new 3 months ago, I put over 5,000 miles on it, it's totally stock...and I want more power!

If you had around $2,000 to throw at it for power increase...what would you do?

Please...recomendations are great..but a grocery list with part #s is way better.

By the time you install a good pipe, PC, SERT, Or Direct Link, along with labor, and tuning costs, that chew up about 75% of that.
IF more monies were to free up, then I'd suggest this simple/powerful upgrade;

Re-work the heads to un-lock their potential(Our Stage II CVO Mods)
Install a set of Wood 555 cams
S&S Pushrods
Good exhaust
Tune

NOW, you are talking about a VERY good increase in reliable power.
Scott

Supertrapp Supermeg - ~$700, SE Heavy Breather ~$275, TTS Mastertune ~$600, HQ 525 cams or Andrews 54 or Woods TW6 ~$300. If you can do the work your self, the only thing left to pay for is the tuning and that can vary a whole lot.

The CVOs really respond well to cam and exhaust. You could get away with the stock air cleaner as the CVO version is not all that bad.

I have the exact same bike & put a V&H pro-pipe, PCV , Fueling 574 cams, S&s push rods & it ended up 102.56hp 106.55tq 100tq starts about 2450 carries to around 5200. Good useable power w/o robbing the savings acct!

The out-of-the-crate S&S 107 in my old Evo below gives similar performance to your bike, 101HP and 107TQ, with a Supermegs. I would want much more out of a modified CVO 110". If I were Tank I would pick up the phone and have a loooong chat with Hillside!

They really do grab the attention, but looking at Hillside's website they can get seriously big numbers out of my S&S 107", so should be able to really wake up a CVO 110".....

No doubt whatsoever Scotty can wake up a 110.

Just giving a different perspective.

What a pretty bike.!

From where I live a nice long ride to NY sounds pretty good.
Or the Work Shed.

The exhaust with the catayst seems to be the holding up area.
So need to tend to that.

Then a cam, anywhere from Woods 7H or T-Man in the 575 range with 100 -102 LSA. TMan might be quieter on things.
With Woods Lifters and Smith Bro pushrods.

Tunner. I like the TTS but the SEST or even a self tunner. A couple are around.

Thats not very complicated.

Default My Thoughts

Purchased the Red/Black version in July. Disappointed with numerous issues - heat/performance/handling at idle speeds. Heat was a really big issues to me.

After lots of research - talking to Harley service dept/private repair shops/many many web sites had the bike dyno'd.

First dyno run: 80 HP at 5250 rpm, 94 ft lbs Torque at 3800 rpm.

I replaced the stock pipes with SuperTrapp Stout mufflers - cost $450 with free shipping on eBay. SuperTrapp claimed a 9 HP/11 ft lbs torque increase on the 110 engine.

Second dyno run w/new mufflers: 6 HP increase to 86 at 5000 rpm down from 5250 rpm and 8 ft lbs of torque increase at 3300 rpm down from 3800 rpm. Sounds great with a noticeable increase in performance.

Next step is change head pipe with Jackpot exhaust 2-1-2 from Fuel Moto USA - $450 and install Power Commander V - $300 for a 2011 Harley. Installation cost $210. Dr Dyno will tune it after parts are installed. He projects 90 HP and 110 ft lbs of torque. Total cost to date $1410 plus $116 for 2 dyno runs. Projected cost to install head pipe & PCV $150. PCV eliminates the O2 sensors and keeps the ECM running in open loop using the maps for fuel control.

T-Man Torqster 555 is the recommended cam. Similiar specs to SE203 with higher lift. Also, ramps are less aggressive so less noise. Suggested replacing the roller lifters and inner cam bearings. Bearings are cheaper 19 roller Chinese units that do fail. They get replaced, if you have a warranty, with Timken 27 roller units. Change will cost $800 tp $900 plus retune.
