stock head gasket thickness?

stock head gasket thickness?
Really odd question but the valve guide issue is fixed and getting ready to put everything back together.
I have been back & forth over my HD manual & can not find the PN# or the thickness for the damn stock head gasket thickness.
(88TC, 2000 Ultra Classic)
I have seen several different thicknesses listed for this gasket, is there a advantage to gain in changing the thickness of the gaskets??
As always thanks

Best to do a deck check first. You're shooting for about .035 squish, give or take a couple. About 6 months ago, I assembled a 95, the pistons were .002 and .003 proud, I used a .040 head gasket for that one. On my recent 107 build, both pistons were .008 down, I used a .027 head gasket. If you were flush deck, you'd want a .036. Cometic makes mls gaskets in several thicknesses, get the one that works best for your applications. The difference between .002 up or down, and flush deck looks pretty much the same to the naked eye. (at least to my old eyes). A .030 head gasket will work in many applications, but I always try to check deck height before ordering head gaskets.
