tc88 48n cam
i i ride a rk 200o stock carb tc 88 with arlen ness big sucker and se slip on exhaust. i ride half time 2 up with trailer in week end and strret in week ,
i look for torgue in low and mid rpm
i av 35 k on bike now and i wan upgrade the cam chain tensionner to new chain conversion plate from andrews .with new hd lifter and smith brother adjustable push rod that i already av ..
i think i choose 48 n cam ,.for what i understand 48 n start power like 21 and keep it longer like 26 due to high lift .30 m cometic gasket or james gasket ,and put andrews spring kit for the high lift cam .or try to find 06 head cheap but rare in good shape at good price, maybe later i look for big bore and head work but for now im on budget.i want ur comment on that choice . maybe im better with 26 n cam or 21 too much choice im a little confused all ur comment will be appreciate

The 48 cam is not available for the stock TC88 chain drive; only available in 48H for the TC96 or 48N as a conversion cam to convert TC88 cam plate/drive system to the TC96 cam plate/drive system.
The 26a would be a better fit even though the intake close is later than the 48. Stock TC88 heads will not be able to take advantage of the higher lift of the 48. However, you could run the 48N if you spring for the upgraded cam plate/hydro tensioner kit.

Yep.
The 26's are what we use as plug/play cams in those 88"ers, and they still respond to 95-98", and cylinder head work.

If you do not intend future motor work I would say the 21's. My Andrews 21's have been fantastic for low-end power and every day driving. Top-end did not suffer compared to stock. Actually better. But if you pull a trailer and ride two up I can't say enough good things about this cam.
If future motorwork is planned. go with the 26
