Default need help!! cams

2013 streetglide stage 1/true dual exhaust
I was going to put the 204's in the bike.I love the idle and have read that with a good tune 100+ ft. lbs. of torque and low 90's hp which is fine.I was then told i need to go with a cam with more lift due to the better flowing heads.
The suggested cams were the Woods 222's,555's and the t-man torquester 555 cams.
Will any of these cams at idle sound similar to the 204's and will these cams produce more torque and hp than the 204's?I really only want to do this once..
I do like torque and not so concearned with hp..
Please help me choose the right cam..
Thanks in advance
Peace and Prayers

None will idle like the 204s. I suspect your warranty will be voided with aftermaket cams which might make the decision easier.

To answer your question though, of the cams listed, the Woods 222 is the only one with the same intake close as the SE204; the other two really need more than stock compression to perform well.

If warranty is an issue, go with the 204s; you could always install a set of 1.7 rockers to increase lift. If warranty is not an issue, go with the 222s. JMHO.

I have a friend who put the 204s in his 96. He says his friends with 255s in their 103s pull him by a couple bikes off the line but he can pull past them over 60 so the powerband pulls slightly better in the mid range and up top. He also has S&S head pipes. I agree with DJL who is right on the money.

Do some 204s with a .030 head gaskets and never look back, also, lift is the smallest equation of a camshaft that should be considered, timing, duration, overlap mean more than lift, good luck on whatever you choose, chad

The 222's would be our choice here.
