Default .600 lift cam with stock heads?

I have a 2013 softail with a bone stock 103 motor.

I have decided to put a stage one Air Cleaner, V & H 2 into 1 Pro Pipe, and PC V with dyno tune.

The shop that I went to said that the Tman 600SM is the way to go with this set up. The website states that this cam is best for motors with 10.1 to 10.2 compression. If I'm not mistaken, the 103 is 9.6 right?

The Tman 555 torqster looks like the better fit according to the specs. I understand that the cam should be matched to the components, and I want the most bang for my buck without making this bike a reliability nightmare.

I appreciate any feedback that you can offer.

IMO I'd go with the Torqster, it will hit better on the bottom end.

Like he said, for just a bolt in. I think you will need some more comp. for the 600 to show all it has. In my bike it makes the most tq above 3000 rpm.

I have used both cams and with the stock heads I don't see the need or desire to go 600 lift. The 555 is an awesome cam for your application, you will be pushing the ccp a small bit so a proper tune is a must.

I am currently running the 600SM in an all bore 107" with compression set at 10.4 and the cams would be "happy" with a bit more. The Torkster is the way to go with your configuration. JMHO.
