100CI X 100HP X 100 TQ
Guys. Got a problem here. I'm trying to research what I need for my target engine build. I have an 06 DynaGlide FXDI and my build goal is a 100 cubic inch engine with 100 horsepower anf 100 ft. lbs. of torque. The problem is that I want to keep my engine looking stock. From my research a 95 in SE engine build with HTCC heads is good for around 90HP. The Elderbrock Kit says it is good for about 105HP. These alter the stock engine appearance. Any Suggestions?? Mid-Atlantic engine builders??

From all the reading/research I've done, along with most of the dyno runs posted, it's close but no cigar. I've thought about this but I want to push this just a bit further. I'm thinking a 4" piston with the standard 4" stroke. REV Tech has this engine and I've seen this combo before, but have been unable to locate it in my searches.

YOU MUST BE READING THE WRONG INFO, MINE AND ALL MY FRIENDS BIKES ARE OVER 100/100 WITH 95" KITS, PORTED STOCK HEADS BY A LOCAL SHOP, HARLEY CAST COMPRESSION PISTONS, CAM PIPE

IF YOU ARE BORING THE CASES, DON'T BE FOOLISH AND STOP AT A 100/100 GOAL. BUILD A 107 (125/125) OR A 113 OR A 124 (135/150)

That combo will give you 110/110 or more with great low end power that carries all the way to the top end.

Ditto what Steve said in the post above!
Heck, you can get 110/110 from a Head-Quarters 95" on a regular basis, if you simply talk to Doug Coffey (@HQ), tell him what you goals are, pay attention to what he said and follow his directions.
You can do WAY better than those @%*& HTCC heads on a S/E 103 build for a WHOLE LOT less $$$!

Thanks for the posts. I will call and maybe they can post a few dyno runs for me. The reason I wanted to stay with the 4" piston/4" stoke is to maintain a "square" engine without stroking. That may be hopeful dreaming though. Principal goal is maintaining a mostly stock appearance to the engine. I will beef up the clutch, get a 180 rear tire, add some progressive shocks, improve the forks, plus the other subtle stuff to make a sleeper. I'm adding a 1/4 fairing, hard bags, and a chin spoiler if I can find the one I like. I'm not interested in racing or drags. I haven't even done a burnout yet. Did all that stuff in my younger days. Subtley is the game. Just want to smoke my buds at the lights, but be able to pull a 500 mile day without a problem. I ride more than trailer so dependability is a must.
