I bought a 2005 Numbered HD Paint Set in 05 for my 05 FXST. Last year it started leaking gas through the tube that the fuel pump/gauge and Fuel Display wires run through. I was able to "plug it" for a while but the fuel has eaten the wire covering and now fuel gauge in/on tank cap doesn't work. I can not find a replacement wiring harness for that and not sure I can replace. I have been told to correct they will destroy my paint, unfortunately I don't have the $$ to pay for the House of Colors paint... Any suggestions?
