What year are your heads? I expect newer then 2006? Are you getting head work for your 96" heads? Let the head porter recommend the cam... They will port the heads with the cams in mind. I have the same bike as you...great ride isnt it!
I have a 1999 Ultra that had a stage 2 from Harley with SE203's, PC2, V&H 2-1 with a SE6-speed an 3.37 gearing. It did ok... I purchased a used set of heads at a swap meet for $100 and sent them to WFO Larry for the stage 2+. They have springs set for .600 lift and believe they are similar to what springs are in a 2006 an up heads. Larry also put in 1.9 intakes and 1.6 exhaust. Before I did this work I converted to an CV44 carb, got tired of adjusting the M&M FI.
The cam I recommend is the Woods 5 or 5-6 if your run out it more then .003. Mine was .004 so I went with the hybrid plate and the 5-6 and the newer style chain tensioners.
Big Blue pulls like a freight train on the run!

Did you understand why HD and most performance pipes are connected? I recommend you find that out be fore going true duals I know why but you might not beleive me even thaw I have been ridding and working on Harley s none stop for 42 years.
Have you looked at the S&S 509? No head work and works great with stock compression. If you are looking for a low to mid cam check it out. It is fairly new.
Good luck.
