Vrod Muscle/removed baffles/remap?

I have a 2013 Vrod muscle that I removed the baffles to rid me of that whiny exhaust. It already runs lean with factory exhaust. Do I really need to remap it?
If I do need to remap will I damage riding it for a couple weeks until I get it done?
