Was the 07 lineup the last yr for throttle cables?

I have seen a test bike that was ride by wire. No info was given when it was to be put into production. DUNNO I fail to see the use really as HD cannot get a tps sensor to postion right from the factory so I doubt that they will get it right either as well they are not water friendly. The t-assmy would have to be changed, the one I saw was driving the throttle with a cruise control motor, and was very erratic under low speed.
