I have a buddy that has bought a 103 top end and is intending on building his current 96. He is planning on using the existing 96 heads with the 103 cyl and pistons. I can seem to find any confirmation on the site of guys doing this without headwork.
Is he wasting his time? Will these heads even work/fit?

it`ll work fine.96" & 103" heads are pretty much the same heads

 

Thanks man, didn't really see that there would be much of a differance in the head, just wanting to make sure.

 

It'll run fine, just won't expose any real peak hp, but if he is not looking for that, then he's in.
