Just had my dealer do a 103 upgrade with SE255 cams on my 2011 Softail Deluxe.

How many miles should I put on it before I have the Dyno done?

 

I did about 500 easy miles on base tune.

 

Get about 50 miles on the new top end and then get on the dyno for a "break-in" tune; a couple of easy pulls just to check/adjust AFR. Put another 1000 miles on and then finish the tune. My tuner will do a break in tune for $50; takes about 30 minutes. He deducts the $50 from the full tune cost when the bike comes back.
