Roller rockers
#2
Jims and SE rollers are noisier. I have heard that Crane and the Baisley rollers are not but I have not run them so I can't say. Baisley rollers are not cheap either, so they should be quiet. I have run the Jims and SE (I think they are the same hardware) and they are noiser; different noise but a bit noisier. Noise is very subjective though, what is noise to one is music to another.
If you don't plan on running cams with more than .600, or thereabouts lift, why bother?

I just got done with doing a lot of work on a twin cam road king including building the motor not stock. He bought some chrome rocker boxes off eBay that came with roller rockers but could not find any markings on them so I have no clue who made them. I always shim the rockers to cut down on noise. The bike is running fine the first 60 miles just the noise in the rocker boxes.
Thanks
