Warranty Question

I have asked the dealership where I made my purchase in 2013(may) about installing a full system (exhaust) and they wouldn't even install it if I brought it in when and if I had some other work done. I have talked with two other dealerships in the area and they didn't seem to care, they said if they do the work, they wont hassle me about warranty work . At the time I was getting info on the stage 4 se kit for my 103. I think all bets are off if you go with any non Harley internals or even tuners like the tmax or tts mastertune.

Usually if you buy it from and have the dealer do the install they will stand behind their work and the warranty. Some dealers are better than others.
Myself changing your pipes at home shouldn't void any warranties. doing a stage1 shouldn't void your warranty either as long as you take it in for the stage1 download.
If you crack the motor open on your own it starts getting questionable and probably better that you not do it on your own unless you're ready to forgo the warranty. Any motor work is better left to the dealer as to what can be changed and not void the factory warranty.
