I have been told on my 2010 FLHTP I can add slip-on mufflers without any other modifications or additions due to police model, true?

 

Are you currently 2-1-2, or 2-1?
I'd say probably, unless aircleaner is being changed too..then you'll get some popping on decel, most likely.
I did.
Look in my profile--same bike as yours, 2010 FLHTCP, cop bike w 103..
completely changed into streetglide, sorta.

BTW--have an almost new supertrapp slip on (SE FatShotz) for that bike--$100.
Sounds awesome and makes it run great.

I have 2008 flhtpi converted to 2 up with button upolstery king & queen seat and black harley big tour pack. Bike is white with bat wing faring & foot boards for my wife. I want to put Thunderheaders on from my 'o5 electraglide but noticed that those are about 2 1/2 inches shorter than the cop pipes it came with. Am I going to fry my bags? Does thunderheaders or someone else sell extension tips for new pipes? Also the tour pack has controls for her radio speakers. Can she use these contols for radio when we get one? Also advise on radio choice, installation and handle bar controls. Fred
