Default SE 211 Cam ? on 2007 96 cu in w/o higher compression

Has anyonetried the SE 211 cam to a 96 cu. in., 07 model with only SE filter and exhaust changes and no other engine mods? I rented an 06 fatboy with a 95 cu in kit with flat top pistons and the SE 211 cam, SE filter and SE exhaust that seemed pretty responsive and wanted to see if any one had added the 211 cam to their 07, 96" with these intake and exhaust mods?

I have learned the hard way about not matching a cam with it's recommended compression. I ran 211 cams in an 88" motor at 9.5 compression and the power was disappointing. The 211 cams like 10.25 or maybe a little more. I have an '07 dyna that has a mild build. When we took it apart and blueprinted, we found the actual compression to be 9.0. This is too low for any performance cam. Before I changed cams, I would raise compression by boring and/or milling heads and definitely a thinner head gasket.

The 211 cams have a alot of duration, needs quite a bit more compression, a freind of mine just had a set of 211's removed from his 95" classic and had a set of S&S 510's installed and he said that the bike ran like a diff motor, pulled harder, more responsive, smoother and you don't have to keep gearing down to keep it pulling, actually the 211's have more duration than the S&S570g cams, look for something else in my opinion.

Thats not going to work good, Alot of work to go backwards in the power dept. You could put some andrews 26's and maybe the 37s with a skinny head gasket. That would WAY better.

I put S&S 510 gear drives in a TC88 which already had SE breather, download and V&H Pro Pipe HS. I noticed a huge difference - I gained a whole gear going up the hill to my house for instance. The engine was otherwise stock; no changes to heads, compression (other than that lost to the cams) etc.
