Can someone give me the internal diameter of these pipes or the external diameter of any baffles you have pulled.

I think the heat shield in 2 1/2" external diameter, which should put the external pipe dimension about 2" or 50 mm.

Guessing the internal dimension is around 1 7/8" or 47 mm.

But I would really appreciate the facts from someone who knows.

 

See attached pic. This is the stock baffle from V&H BSS. I pulled theses and installed quiet baffles to deepen the sound, mellow down the loudness, and control the blam, blam, blam. They did all of the above but only slowed down half of the blam. Much better though. The outside diameter really looks like between 1 - 7/8 inch and 1 - 31/32 inch. A hair just under 2 inches.
