If I slightly "cinch" or slightly close down the internal (front) open ends of my baffle tubes inside a set of HD Street Cannon mufflers? They are just a little loud for me and this tweak could quiet them down (?). The baffle tubes are straight-thru design with no internal baffle plates. While this tweak would force more exhaust through the muffler packing, the last thing I want is to change the audio dynamics so they sound "tinny" or goofy.
Anyone have any experience with playing with baffles like this?

Check out DK Custom, they sell what's called a "lollipop" which is a washer welded on a bolt. It will help quiet it down and make it adjustable. You might have to drill a hole in the bottom of the muffler.
